The Education for Now and Feature

Education is a human being needs throughout hayat.Setiap need education, until when and wherever he is. Education is very important, because without humans would be difficult to develop education and even going backward. Thus education should really be directed to produce quality human and able to compete, in addition to have a noble character and good morals.

Educational goals that we hope is the minds of the people and develop the whole Indonesian person, the man is faithful and righteous to Almighty God and virtuous noble character, have the knowledge and skills, physical and spiritual health, a steady personality, independence and sense of responsibility community and nationhood. "Education should be able to prepare citizens for to play an active role in all fields of life, intelligent, active, creative, skilled, honest, disciplined and high moral, democratic, and tolerant with emphasis on national unity rather than disunity.

Consider children's education the same as preparing for future generations. Heart of a child is like a photographic plate that does not display anything, ready to reflect on all that revealed to him.

The four pillars of education now and the future that proclaimed by UNESCO to be developed by formal education institutions, namely: (1) Learning to Know (learning to learn), (2) learning to do (learn to do something) in this case we are required to skilled in doing something, (3) learning to be (studying to become a person), and (4) learning to live together (learning to live together).

Education Innovation

Factors to Look For In Education Innovation
1. Teacher
Teacher as the spearhead in the implementation of education is a partyvery influential in teaching and learning. Expertise andteacher authority is determining the continuity of the learning processin the classroom as well as its effects outside the classroom. Teachers must be good at bringing
students to the goals to be achieved. There are several things that can establish the authority of teachers, among othersis the mastery of the material being taught, teaching methods appropriatewith the situation and condition of students, relationships between individuals, both withstudents and among fellow teachers and other elements involved ineducational process, such as administrators, such as school principals andadministration as well as the surrounding community, experience and skillsteachers themselves. Thus, in education reform, teacher involvementfrom planning to implementation of educational innovationand evaluation play a huge role for the successan educational innovation. Without involving them, it is very possiblethey will reject the innovations introduced to them. Thisas described earlier, because they assume that innovationnot include them is not hers to be implemented, but instead they assume will disturb the peace andthe smoothness of their duties. Therefore, in an innovationeducation, primary and first gurulah involved because teachershas a broad role as educators, as parents, asfriends, as a doctor, as a motivator and so forth. (Wright1987)
2. StudentsAs the main object of education, especially in the learning processteaching, students hold a very dominant role. In the processteaching and learning, students can determine the success of learning throughthe use of intelligence, motor power, experience, willingness andcommitments that arise in them without any coercion. This can beoccurs when students are also involved in the process of educational innovation, even if only by introducing to them the purpose of thethe change from planning to implementation,so what they do is a shared responsibility thatshould be implemented with consistently. The role of students in innovationeducation is no less important as the role of other elements, because students can be as a recipient of the lesson, giving the subject matterto one other friend, guide, and even as a teacher. Thereforethat, in introducing educational innovation throughtheir application, students need to be invited or involved so that they do notJust accept and implement these innovations, but alsoreduce the resistance as described previously.3. CurriculumEducation curriculum, more narrowly covering the school curriculumteaching programs and devices are the guidelines inimplementation of education and teaching in schools. Thereforeschool curriculum is considered as an inseparable partin teaching and learning in schools, so that in the implementationeducational innovations, curriculum holds the same roleother elements in education. Without the curriculum and withoutfollow the existing programs in dalamya, the educational innovationwill not run in accordance with the objectives of innovation itself. ByTherefore, in pembahruan education, those changes shouldin accordance with changes in curriculum or curriculum change followedwith education reform and not impossible changes ofboth will run the same direction.

4. FacilitiesFacilities, including educational facilities, can notignored in the process of education, especially in the learning processteaching. In pembahruan education, of course the facility isthings that influence the sustainability of innovations that will be applied.Without the facilities, the implementation of educational innovations will becertainly will not run properly. Facilities, particularlyteaching and learning facilities is essential inmake changes and pembahruan education. Therefore, ifin implementing an educational innovation, facilities needattention. For example, the availability of school buildings, benches, tables andforth.

5. Social Scope. In implementing educational innovations, there are things that are notdirectly involved in these changes but it can take effect, both positive and negative, in pelaklsanaan pembahruan education.Communities are not directly or indirectly, intentionally ornot, involved in education. Because, what you want donein education actually change society for the betterespecially the community in which students came from. Withoutinvolve the surrounding community, educational innovation will certainlydisturbed, could destroy even if they were not told orinvolved. Community involvement in educational innovationon the contrary will help innovators and implementers of innovation inimplement educational innovations.

6. ConclusionInnovation education as educational change efforts can not stand alone, but must melibatakan all related elements in it, such as innovators, organizers of innovations such as teachers and students. In addition, the success of educational innovation is not only determined by one or two factors alone, but also by the community and complete facilities.

EDUCATION IN ISLAM

Until recently, the majority of education experts argue that the main problem faced by our nation is the low quality of education at every level and education units. Various things have been attempted to solve these problems, ranging from training to improve the quality of teachers and education personnel, repair facilities and infrastructure and the largest is the renewal of educational curricula aimed at the realization of a quality learning process towards the realization of quality human resources.
However, of the many things mentioned about the factors that cause the "crash" our nation's education - based on analysis of the authors - very few were aware that the "failure" of our education system is based on the error of our educational paradigms that have shaped education in which the dichotomy there is the dividing line between religion and science.
This can be seen from the view of our current society as the product of an education system that has been executed, where currently the community has been - already happy-split between general knowledge and religious knowledge. From that idea then came another term (to borrow a phrase Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tafsir), namely public schools and religious schools and a clear separation between the general problem of (mundane) and religious issues (the Hereafter). The effects of such thinking is predictable, namely the separation between faith and science. Thus emerged the scholars, who fear science and openly denounced and hostile and many scientists who tend indifferent to religion. This led to the emergence of the assumption of some people as if there is a cold war or the conflict between religion with science and partly wondering how actually sat his case (see Soedewo PK: Islam and Science).
In fact, if we put the intellect and the mind as the primary means to gain knowledge, was in al-Quran a lot of the words of God which tells people to use their minds in examining the potential of everything that merupakanayat-paragraph (signs) of power- Him. The questions (Istifham) contained in the Koran as afalaa ya'qiluun or sentence afalaa yatafakkaruun widely used in the Koran. This shows that between revelation and reason should be side by side.
Murtadha Mutahhari a cleric, Islamic philosopher and scientistas quoted by HD Bastaman in his berjudulIntegrasiPsychology with Islam; Towards Islamic Psychology explains that faith andscience is a human characteristic, in which humans have a tendency to go in the direction of truth and sacred beings and can not live without purify and worship something. This is the faith which is the tendency of human nature. But on the other hand, humans also have a tendency to always want to know and understand the universe, and has the ability to look at the past, present and future (which is the hallmark of science).
Based on the above description, can we catch that because faith and science is a distinctive characteristic of humans that are like two sides of a coin that can not be separated, then the separation between the two it will reduce human dignity. In addition adanyaadagium that faith without science will lead to fanaticism and setbacks, as well as ignorance and superstition instead of science without faith will be used to indulgence in lust, greed, expansionism, ambition, arrogance, oppression, slavery, fraud and cheating reinforce the opinion above. In other words, faith without science will become weak and vice versa science without faith will go blind!.
Separation and tiling between religion and science will clearlycause lameness in the process of education, religion, if without the support of science will be not rooted in reality and reason, while science is not based on religious principles and morality or ethics of good will develop into a wild and destructive impact. Hence the concept of education in Islam offers a holistic education system and the positioning of religion and science as something that should be mutually reinforcing each other, which is generally indicated in the prayer of the Prophet: "O Allah, teach me what brings benefit to me, as well as grant me useful knowledge. " From the prayer was revealeddesirable that the quality of science in Islam is the benefit of scienceit. This can be seen from the hadeeth of the Prophet: "Faith is like a body that stillplain, is taqwa clothes, jewelry is a shame and fruit
is a science. "
In the end, as a conclusion the author cites the opinion of HDBastaman: "If you are a scientist, check out the Koran and if youa clergy learn about science, "which is expected to be born aminded scholars and scientists who are being scientific scholars. Wallaahu A'lam
